Your tasks and areas of application:

  • Produce precision components using metal-cutting processes
  • Working on CNC-controlled (computer-aided numerical machine control) machine tools
  • Planning and organising work processes
  • Setting up and monitoring the production process

You have:

  • Intermediate school-leaving qualification, secondary school certificate or high school graduation mwith good grades, especially in natural sciences (maths, physics)
  • Interest in technology
  • Craftsmanship
  • Very good communication and team skills
  • Interest in technical contexts
  • Logical, spatial thinking and precise working methods

TUPEX-5 Parabolic flight

In the course of the joint parabolic flight campaign of the French space agency CNES, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the European Space Agency ESA, the ASTROFEIN PicoSatellite Launcher was used. Within the framework of the TUPEX-5 experiment of the ILR of the TU Berlin, the launching of four 330 gram light picosatellites was successfully verified.
